In the outskirts of London, Portuguese couple and parents of three, Bela and Jota, struggle to make ends meet. Their deaf daughter becomes the center of a misunderstanding at school which raises concerns from British social services about the safety of their children. This leads to a portrayal of the tireless battle of these immigrant parents against the law to keep their family together in the poignant film LISTEN.
